Blackjack is a card game loved by many online players. You have a much higher chance of winning playing blackjack than online slots for example. It can be played from the comfort of your home at an online casino, it so easy to win in this game and there are a lot of blackjack varieties that you can choose from.

The Cyberslotz Quicksilver Blackjack game is played using six packs of standard playing cards which are shuffled before every game. The purpose of the game is for the player to accumulate a total in his hand that is greater than that of the dealer without going over the total of 21, or to stay under 21 while the dealer exceeds that total.

To better understand Blackjack rules the player needs to know that Aces count as 11, unless they would cause the hand to exceed 21, in which case they have a value of 1, the 10 card as well as all picture cards count as 10 and all other cards count as face value. If the sum of the player’s cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, the player receives even money. The dealer must draw cards until he has at least 17 showing and must stay on 17 or higher. In other words, if the dealer is dealt 16 he has to draw a card and if those first two cards total 17 no further cards may be drawn.
A Stand off is when the player draws Blackjack (an ace plus a 10 or picture card) he receives one and a half times the stake plus the original stake. If the dealer also draws Blackjack in the same hand there is no winner or loser and the stake is returned to the player.

You need to understand all of the terminology of the game to be a successful Blackjack player. The ‘Hit’ button is pressed when you want to add another card to your original two, the Stand option means you want to stay with your current hand (this becomes automatic once the player hits 21). The player also has the chance to Split if the first two drawn cards are of the same value. In this event the player may then place an additional stake of the same value as the original one and play two separate hands against the dealer. Players are able to double the initial stakes, but they will be dealt only one further card.

If the player feels the dealer might have Blackjack he is able to insure against the dealer drawing Blackjack. In the event that the dealer does not draw Blackjack and the player has insured the player loses the insurance stake.
